Roxborough
Roxborough is located in Northwest Douglas County. The area is known for its amazing sandstone formations and is home to approximately 5,000 residents.
Two state parks, Roxborough and Chatfield, border the area and offer a wealth of recreational activities. Waterton Canyon and the High Line Canal also offer trail systems for hikers, runners, bikers and equestrians.
Roxborough also boasts an archaeological site where in 1960, Charles Lamb discovered Columbian mammoth remains while digging in a pond. This site is now Lamb Spring, the site of one of the largest collection of mammoth bones in the state.
Arrowhead Golf Club is one of the most scenic golf courses in the country.
