Colorado Department of Labor and Employment Celebrates the 3.25 Million Coloradans Participating in the Workforce this Labor Day
The Colorado Department of Labor and Employment (CDLE) celebrates the 3,250,500 Coloradans actively participating in our workforce this Labor Day. The state’s labor force participation rate remains at 69.5%, the highest it has been since March 2020. During this first week of Workforce Development Month, CDLE is highlighting the myriad of services provided in partnership with Colorado’s Workforce Centers across the state that contribute to a thriving workforce development system. The career counselors and staff at Colorado’s 54 Workforce Centers connect workers to local employment, training, and educational opportunities, as well as grants and funding opportunities. They can also support job seekers by improving their interviewing and resume writing skills. Not just a valuable resource for workers, business services representatives at Workforce Centers can assist employers with a wide array of offerings including tax credit information, customized training and apprenticeship programs, recruitment help and more. |
